Palace of Machinery.
The Palace of Machinery at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition is the largest wooden frame structure in the world, being 967 feet long, 367 feet wide and 135 feet high. More than 7,500,000 feet of lumber and 1,200 tons of steel (bolts and washers) were used in its construction. It covers about 9 acres of land. Ward & Blohme, architects.
